ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Zonal Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy across both regions to drive growth in Remidio’s ophthalmology device portfolio. You will lead a team of Area/Territory Sales Managers, drive key account relationships, and be accountable for meeting revenue targets, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement sales strategies for the South zones in alignment with organizational goals.
Lead, manage, and mentor the regional sales teams (Area Sales Managers & Territory Executives).
Drive achievement of sales targets across geographies and product lines.
Uphold compliance and ethical standards across sales practices.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including ophthalmologists, hospital procurement teams, and distributors.
Identify new market opportunities and drive expansion into untapped geographies.
Monitor competitive activity and market trends; provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with marketing, service, and product teams to ensure customer success.
Ensure timely reporting, forecasting, and analysis to management. Uphold compliance and ethical standards across sales practices.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
Proven experience in medical device sales (preferably ophthalmology).
Hands-on experience with CRM for sales tracking and funnel management.
Understanding of clinical workflows and buying cycles in healthcare.
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and business planning.
Ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize team performance.
