Position Summary
As a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work you’ll do:
You will lead the implementation of Workday technical integrations by analyzing client requirements and designing, building, configuring, testing, and supporting Workday Financial Management solutions. You will play a key role throughout all project phases, from requirements gathering to post go-live support, and guide onsite resources in configuring and testing business processes. In addition, you will develop custom reports as needed and support integration design and testing activities, ensuring comprehensive and effective solutions that address client needs and deliver successful project outcomes.

The Emerging ERP Solutions offering provides advice, planning, and implementation of Cloud ERP solutions like Workday, MS Dynamics and Infor, featuring built-in industry-specific capabilities. The USI team plays a crucial role throughout the entire engagement lifecycle, from initial pursuits to final delivery. Specializing in Financials and Supply Chain transformations, the team also implements Adaptive Planning Solutions across various industries. Their deep expertise in both technology and domain ensures effective, tailored solutions that drive value and operational excellence for clients.
Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
6+ years of consulting or relevant industry experience
Hands-on with financial ERP systems (Oracle Financials, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft Financials, SAP FICO)
Sound knowledge of basic financial accounting
Experience in at least one end-to-end ERP implementation
Quick learner, eager to excel in new ERP platforms
Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio
Translate functional requirements and integration specifications into technical designs
Conduct unit testing, support SIT/UAT cycles, and troubleshoot technical defects
Document integration specs and technical design documents to delivery standards
Coordinate with client IT and middleware teams on end-to-end integration testing and cutover activities and mentor junior consultants and review their technical deliverables
Capable of working independently and managing several tasks simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation abilities (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with mature judgment
Understanding of current cloud-based SAAS and PAAS offerings
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
Active Workday Certification would be an added advantage
Education:
BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
A master’s degree with financial background would be a plus

Shift Timings:
11 AM to 8 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST as per business requirements
