Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end data conversion activities for Workday implementations (HCM, Finance, Payroll, etc.)
Analyze legacy system data and map it to Workday data structures
Design and develop data conversion strategies, templates, and ETL processes
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading using Workday delivered tools
Cleanse and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness before migration
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define data requirements
Execute mock loads, identify issues, and resolve data discrepancies
Support integration testing, UAT, and deployment phases
Maintain documentation for data mapping, transformation rules, and conversion processes
Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards
Troubleshoot data load errors and optimize conversion performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in data migration or data conversion projects
2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday implementations
Strong knowledge of Workday modules (HCM, Financials, Payroll, etc.)
Strong data mapping, data modeling, and data validation skills
Proficiency in SQL, Excel and data analysis
Experience handling large datasets and complex data structures
Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in at least one full-cycle Workday implementation
Workday certification (HCM, Financials, or Integrations)
