Quick Summary:
As a core leader at Vartis Platforms, you will spearhead a high-impact "Greenfield" project from scratch. You’ll blend deep Python expertise with AI-driven development to build the next generation of fintech solutions, driving our expansion into untapped market segments.
II. Your Role
In this role, you will be expected to achieve the following key results:
Architect & Launch:
Lead the end-to-end technical design and deployment of a new flagship fintech project within the first 6 months.
AI-Driven Development:
Integrate AI tools and LLMs into the engineering workflow to accelerate delivery cycles and optimize code quality.
Platform Delivery:
Oversee the delivery of scalable services that power our mobile interfaces, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and scale a high-performing squad of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and rapid iteration.
System Scalability:
Design robust backend architectures using Python and optimized database schemas capable of handling high-volume financial transactions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner directly with Product and Design heads to translate business vision into a market-ready technical roadmap.
III. Candidate / Skill RequirementsA. Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)
Experience:
8+ years of core engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Core Skills:
Expert-level proficiency in
Python
and a strong command of database management (SQL or NoSQL).
AI Tooling:
Proven experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) or integrating AI APIs into production environments.
Domain Knowledge:
Functional understanding of mobile app development workflows and how backends interface with mobile clients.
Education:
B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
B. Bonus: Good-to-Haves
Fintech Background:
Prior experience building lending, payments, or wealth-tech platforms.
Mobile Experience:
Practical experience with React Native, Flutter, or Native mobile development.
IV. Career Progression
Growth Trajectory:
Success in this role leads to a
Director of Engineering
or
VP of Engineering
position within 18–24 months as the new project scales into a primary business vertical.
