Reporting Manager: Head of Department / Co-ordinator
Primary Purpose:
The Cricket Coach is responsible for training students in cricket techniques, improving their physical fitness, and preparing school teams for inter-school competitions. The coach promotes discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship while ensuring students’ safety during practice and matches.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Training
Conduct structured volleyball training sessions (2–4 days per week).
Teach fundamental and intermediate skills: serving, passing, setting, spiking, and blocking.
Introduce game strategies, rotations, and match awareness for senior students.
Design drills tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
Student Development
Encourage participation and inclusivity across all grades.
Identify and nurture talented players for advanced training.
Promote teamwork, leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Build students’ confidence and competitive mindset.
Safety & Discipline
Ensure student safety during all training sessions and matches.
Conduct proper warm-ups, conditioning, and cool-down exercises.
Maintain discipline and positive behavior on the court.
Provide basic first aid when required.
Competitions & Events
Organize intra-school matches and practice games.
Train and prepare school teams for inter-school competitions.
Assist in planning and execution of annual sports events.
Administrative Duties
Maintain attendance and basic performance records.
Manage and maintain volleyball equipment and court setup.
Coordinate with school staff regarding schedules and events.
Provide feedback on student progress when required.
