Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Hotel Accountancy Faculty member for the B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Management Programme. The role focuses on teaching students the fundamentals of accounting, budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and hotel financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Training Delivery Conduct sessions on Hotel Accountancy, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Cost Control, and Hospitality Financial Operations. Teach students the fundamentals of journal entries, ledger posting, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and financial analysis. Use case studies, numerical exercises, and hotel scenarios to simplify financial concepts. Prepare students to understand the importance of finance in hotel operations. Curriculum & Assessment Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with the academic syllabus. Conduct regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students. Ensure timely submission of reports, internal marks, and grades. Student Mentoring Guide students in projects, assignments, and case studies related to hotel finance. Support students in developing analytical thinking and financial decision-making skills. Industry Alignment Stay updated with current hospitality accounting practices and cost-control methods. Integrate practical hotel finance examples into classroom sessions. Work closely with academic teams to ensure students are industry-ready. Qualifications & Skills Required: Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Hotel Management, or a related field. Minimum 3 -5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or hospitality finance. Prior experience in hotels, hospitality, or service industries preferred. Strong knowledge of hotel accounting, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting. Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
