We are seeking a talented individual to join our Finance team at Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office
Vice President - Finance Team
We will count on you to:
Accounting Expertise in Month end and year end closing activity
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Review of Payables, T&E and other allocations cost
Treasury function – Assess cash flows and manage investments
Business Support Cost recovery
US GAAP and IND AS compliances to managing both statutory and corporate books
Tax planning and strategy development
Team management and leadership
Manage all Direct, Indirect Tax and GIFT SEZ compliances
Manage direct, indirect and TP assessments including appeals Assessments
Effective documentation and paperwork for assessments and transfer pricing.
Dealing with Tax Consultants and attend the hearings on important matters.
Manage Tax / TP audit and related tax matters in other audits
Tax law monitoring and updates
What you need to have:
CA
10 to 12 years’ experience in managing all the month end closing, all statutory, internal, tax and transfer pricing audit, direct and indirect tax compliances, regulatory compliance in a mid-size corporate entity
What makes you stand out:

Ability to challenge legacy processes, simplify and automate
Knowledge of technology/ tools that can be leveraged for operational process and filing returns.
Excellent in Excel
Ability to influence supporting teams in a matrix team structure
