Job Overview:
To generate prescription demand and sell SAVAVET’s Farm Animal Business portfolio to target customers like Veterinarians, Livestock specialists, and Channel partners including retailers in the assigned geographic territory. The VSO is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets, ensuring outstanding collections from all customers, and generating leads for market penetration and development.
Key Responsibility:
1. Sales Management:
Ensure achievement of sales, collection and POB targets by regularly calls on target customers like Veterinarians, Livestock specialists, Channel partners including retailers within a defined sales territory to achieve budgeted sales volume and other established goals
Territory coverage as per business expectations
Maintain accurate up-to-date sales data pertaining to the territory
Adequate coverage of channel partners to ensure sufficient inventory availability
100% compliance to ethical practices as put forth by the organization
2. Scientific Detailing to Veterinarians
Detail product/s to all stakeholders for achieving sales.
Identify and report to the immediate manager about unmet medical needs of customers as understood during discussion.
Adequate usage of Marketing tools to generate interest and demand in products.
3. Market Development:
Generation of leads for new business (new customers / new markets)
Collect and share information pertaining to competitor activities / initiative
Qualifications:
BSc with or without an MBA; prior experience in animal health industry, especially livestock business
Non-science graduate with experience in pharma industry especially in selling livestock products to HCPs
Experience in Pharma industry especially in selling livestock products to HCPs is preferable
