About this role

Represent the user in every product discussion, ensuring that platform requirements never compromise the core human experience. Integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into your design process to explore and rapidly iterate on predictive interfaces that anticipate user intent. Collaborate with Product Managers (PMs) and engineers to translate business goals into design strategies that uphold Google’s high bar for craft and innovation. Lead the growth of the Google TV Design System, ensuring it stays modern, scalable, and adaptable to the latest global design trends and partner needs. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of experience with interaction design in product design or User Experience (UX) design. Experience in User Experience (UX) with visual design (e.g., typography, color theory, and visual storytelling) and figma and other tools. Include a portfolio centered on consumer products for Android or 10-foot interfaces link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization. 1 year of experience leading design projects. Experience designing for TV, Mobile (e.g., Android) and other device form factors. Portfolio documents practical examples of leveraging AI workflows in the design process.
