About this role

Own end-end interaction and visual design for features through early exploration and visioning, detailed designs, prototyping and specs. Communicate your design rationale and present at design meetings and reviews with leadership. Collaborate with the rest of the Play team (Framework, Search, Apps, Games, etc.) and other partner teams (Ads) across Google. Leverage creative assets to think of innovative ways to stretch and extend solutions. Work as a strategic partner with PM & Eng in the Play & Ads organizations, balancing short term and long term goals and launching polished products. Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design. Experience designing for mobile (Android) and other device form factors. Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions). Preferred qualifications: Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field. 2 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization. Experience in ads or similar industry. Strong interaction and visual design execution skills. Possesses a keen eye for visual design and passion for integrating user research, analytics insights, and business constraints to formulate UX strategies to solve problems & meet user needs.
