Role: Travel Consultant ( Audit Department)
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Experience: 2-4 years
Key Responsibilities
Audit domestic and international travel bookings for accuracy and policy compliance
Verify ticketing, refunds, reissues, cancellations, and fare calculations
Identify discrepancies, process gaps, and operational errors
Review GDS transactions and booking records
Ensure adherence to company SOPs and quality standards
Coordinate with operations, finance, and support teams for issue resolution
Prepare audit reports and highlight observations to management
Monitor fraudulent or suspicious transactions and escalate when required
Support process improvement initiatives and compliance checks
Maintain proper documentation and audit records
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in travel operations, ticketing, or audit processes preferred
Knowledge of GDS systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre
Understanding of fare rules, refunds, reissues, and cancellations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction reviews
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
Prior experience in travel audit or back-office operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Team player with a process-oriented approach
