Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Testing Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge SaaS applications. You will be involved throughout the entire application testing life cycle, from planning and execution to reporting, with a strong focus on API performance and load testing. This role requires a proactive individual who can thrive in an Agile environment and help maintain the high standards of our product.

Key Responsibilities
•Own the QA Strategy (Test Design & Execution): Design, establish, and execute our comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies from the ground up for our platform.
•Rigorous End-to-End Testing: Perform comprehensive testing across the entire application lifecycle, including functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing to ensure flawless service delivery.
•Performance & Load Testing: Conduct deep API performance and load testing. Act as the gatekeeper for scalability, stability, and responsiveness of the application under various user loads.
•SaaS Validation: Validate complex data integrity, user permissions, and security within a multi-tenant architecture.
•Advanced Defect Management & Troubleshooting: Log, track, and relentlessly manage defects using Jira. Go beyond surface-level reporting by applying critical thinking to perform root-cause analysis and replicate tricky edge cases before handing off to the development team.
•Cross-Platform Quality: Validate UI/UX behavior and ensure seamless cross-browser, cross-device compatibility, and optimal performance.
•AI-Enhanced QA: Leverage AI-powered coding and testing assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to optimize test coverage, accelerate automated test script generation, and analyze logs.
•Impeccable Documentation: Champion the standard for documentation. Create and maintain exceptionally clear, concise, and accessible test documentation, test plans, and bug reports.
•Cross-Functional Communication & Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in an Agile environment (sprints, stand-ups). Serve as a highly communicative liaison between technical services, developers, and product teams to ensure quality standards are met.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
•Core Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a strong focus on testing multi-tenant SaaS-based applications.
•Testing Lifecycle Mastery: Deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
•Performance & API Testing: Proven hands-on experience in API performance testing and load testing using tools like Postman, JMeter, or similar. Strong grasp of REST API principles.
•Test Automation Foundation: Familiarity with or hands-on experience using modern test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium) to begin transitioning manual efforts into automated pipelines.
•AI-Assisted QA: Experience utilizing AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to generate test data, write test scripts, and analyze complex logs/errors.
•SaaS Architecture: Solid understanding of SaaS principles, including multi-tenancy, scalability, data isolation, and security.
•Database & Web Tech: Proficiency in querying databases (SQL or NoSQL) to validate data integrity. Solid understanding of foundational web technologies (HTML, CSS, HTTP).
•Project Management: Proficiency with Jira (or similar tools) for meticulous bug tracking, sprint planning, and defect lifecycle management.
