KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Sales & Business Growth
·
Achieve
primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned territory.
·
Drive
volume growth across product categories such as LED lamps, luminaires, battens,
panels, and fixtures.
·
Execute
monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans in line with business objectives.
C
hannel Management
·
Manage
and develop distributors, dealers, and retailers within the territory.
·
Ensure
optimum distributor stock levels and healthy secondary off-take.
·
Appoint
new dealers/retailers to improve market penetration and coverage.
Market Development
·
Increase
brand visibility through in-shop branding, displays, and promotional
activities.
·
Identify
new growth areas, towns, and micro-markets within the territory.
·
Track
competitor activity, pricing, schemes, and market trends and share insights
with management.
Execution & Operations
·
Ensure
effective implementation of trade schemes, promotions, and product launches.
·
Monitor
beat plans, coverage, and productivity.
·
Ensure
timely collections and adherence to credit norms as per company policy.
Team Coordination
·
Work
closely with distributor sales teams and promoters to drive secondary sales.
·
Train
channel partners and sales staff on products, schemes, and selling technique
EDUCATION
·
Graduate
in any discipline
·
MBA
in Sales/Marketing preferred
EXPERIENCE
·
4–8
years of sales experience in
B2C
Lighting / Electricals / Consumer Durables
·
Strong
exposure to distributor and retail-driven sales models
·
Proven
experience in handling a defined territory independently
