We are seeking an experienced
Template Designer Lead
to manage and lead communication template design and implementation activities for enterprise customers using a template-driven Communication Management System (CCM).
The candidate will be responsible for requirement analysis, solution planning, template design oversight, customer coordination, resource management, and delivery execution across multiple client engagements. The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, customer handling, and delivery management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis & Solution Design
Understand and analyze customer communication template requirements across multiple projects and clients
Need to categorize and handle template implementation requirements based on complexity
Coordinate with customers and internal teams for requirement clarification and solution discussions
Define implementation approach, effort estimation, and delivery plans
Team Leadership & Resource Management
Lead and manage a team of template designers/configuration resources
Allocate and prioritize tasks based on business priorities, timelines, and resource availability
Monitor team progress, delivery schedules, and quality of implementations
Guide team members on design standards, implementation approach, and issue resolution
Template Design & Configuration Oversight
Oversee template configuration and workflow implementation activities within the CCM platform
Ensure proper implementation of:
Data mapping and parsing
Dynamic variable creation
Business rules and conditional logic
Workflow configuration
PDF/HTML document generation
Multi-channel communication distribution (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, Print)
Customer Coordination & Delivery Management
Act as a primary point of coordination for customer communication related to template delivery activities
Track overall requirement status, dependencies, risks, and timelines
Ensure timely delivery of customer requirements with expected quality standards
Provide regular status updates and proactively manage escalations/issues
Quality & Process Governance
Review template implementations to ensure quality and standardization
Drive process improvements and implementation best practices
Ensure proper documentation, tracking, and governance across projects
Identifying and providing feedback to product team on the recurring tasks / tedious tasks performed to automate / reduce template creation efforts
Create and maintain reusable templates repository
Required Skills
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of template-driven communication management systems (CCM/CXM platforms preferred)
Experience in template design, document generation, and workflow-based implementations
Knowledge of data mapping, parsing, variable handling, and business rule configuration
Understanding of PDF/HTML document generation concepts
Familiarity with Email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Print communication workflows
Basic understanding of databases, APIs, structured data formats, and file-based integrations

Experience managing multiple projects and customer requirements simultaneously

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred Experience
Experience working on CCM, document composition, workflow automation, or enterprise communication platforms
Prior experience in customer-facing implementation and delivery roles
Experience leading implementation/configuration teams is preferred
