Job Overview:
The Techno-Commercial Sales Specialist for Li-Ion Batteries will drive sales and business development efforts for lithium-ion battery solutions. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to identify market opportunities, engage with potential clients, and provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs. The specialist will work closely with engineering, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies for lithium-ion battery products. Identify target markets and customer segments, and create strategic plans to penetrate these markets effectively.
Client Engagement:
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, including OEMs, integrators, and distributors. Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions to address client needs and drive sales.
Technical Support:
Provide technical expertise and support to clients by explaining the benefits, features, and specifications of Li-Ion batteries. Address technical questions and assist in product selection based on client requirements.
Proposal and Quotation Management:
Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and quotations for battery solutions. Collaborate with engineering teams to customize solutions and ensure proposals meet client specifications and expectations.
Market Research:
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer preferences. Use this information to adapt sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Project Management:
Oversee the implementation of sales contracts and projects, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of battery solutions. Address any issues or challenges that arise during project execution.
Sales Reporting:
Track and report on sales performance, including sales forecasts, pipeline status, and revenue generation. Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Customer Feedback:
Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve products and services. Work with R&D and product management teams to incorporate feedback into product development and enhancements.
Training and Development:
Stay up-to-date with advancements in Li-Ion battery technology and industry standards. Participate in training and professional development to enhance technical knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or technical certifications are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development within the battery or related technology sector. Proven experience with lithium-ion battery products is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of lithium-ion battery technology and applications.
Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications in sales or technical fields are advantageous.
Physical Requirements:

Working Conditions:
