Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive
On-Site Service Technician
to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical servicing, the ability to diagnose technical issues, and a commitment to providing excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment as per company standards.
Diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment.
Work closely with the engineering and service teams to report and resolve technical problems.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company and industry regulations.
Maintain service records and prepare detailed reports after each service visit.
Provide technical guidance and support to customers regarding equipment operation and maintenance.
Travel to various customer sites as required for servicing and repairs.
Ensure proper handling of tools, spare parts, and service equipment.
Skills & Competencies Required:
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical components, and troubleshooting methods.
Hands-on experience in using diagnostic tools and repair instruments.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work on-site as per job requirements.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in servicing industrial machinery, solar equipment, or robotics will be an advantage.
Knowledge of PLC, sensors, and automation systems is a plus.
