Acts as a technology evangelist and engineering leader, driving platform modernization using distributed systems and Google-scale infrastructure patterns to ensure reliability, security, scalability, and compliance. What we’ll offer you As part of our flexible scheme, here are just some of the benefits that you’ll enjoy Best in class leave policy Gender neutral parental leaves 100% reimbursement under childcare assistance benefit (gender neutral) Sponsorship for Industry relevant certifications and education Employee Assistance Program for you and your family members Comprehensive Hospitalization Insurance for you and your dependents Accident and Term life Insurance Complementary Health screening for 35 yrs. and above Your key responsibilities Act as BFA for development and enhancement of our API based SaaS Own architecture for high-scale fintech platforms: payments, payouts, collections, and treasury flows Design real-time, event-driven transaction systems with idempotency, reconciliation, and ledger integrity Build and scale multi-tenant, API-first platforms (Kubernetes, service mesh), with highly scalable SaaS platforms for external client integrations Drive developer-centric platform capabilities: SDKs, APIs, webhooks, and partner onboarding at scale Embed SRE practices: SLAs/SLOs, observability, incident response, and reliability engineering Ensure secure-by-design systems: encryption, tokenization, key management, fraud/risk hooks Optimize latency, throughput, and cost per transaction across high-volume payment flows Enable global readiness: multi-currency, cross-border flows, and regulatory adaptability Mentor teams and enforce engineering excellence for always-on fintech SaaS systems Your skills and experience 15+ years in fintech platforms, payments infrastructure, or high-scale transaction systems Proven experience building API-driven, high-throughput, low-latency systems Strong hands-on skills in Go/Java/C++/Python Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, event streaming, and APIs (gRPC/REST/webhooks) Cloud expertise (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable) Deep understanding of ledgering, reconciliation, and eventual vs strong consistency trade-offs Strong grounding in SRE, fault tolerance, and distributed systems at scale Experience with PCI-DSS, secure data handling, and fintech compliance patterns Ability to influence platform architecture, scalability, and product velocity at org level Core Expertise – GCP / Google-Scale Systems Apply Google-scale patterns to API-first fintech platforms with global scale and uptime requirements Distributed storage (Bigtable/Spanner-like) for real-time balances, ledgers, and transaction state Large-scale data processing (MapReduce, streaming) for reconciliation, settlement, and analytics Container orchestration (Borg/Kubernetes) for elastic, multi-tenant workloads Planet-scale networking for low-latency APIs, global routing, and resilient failover Strong grasp of fault tolerance, eventual consistency, and financial correctness trade-offs Hands-on use of GCP-native services to build scalable, secure fintech platforms How we’ll support you Training and development to help you excel in your career Coaching and support from experts in your team A culture of continuous learning to aid progression A range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs About us and our teams Please visit our company website for further information: https://www.db.com/company/company.html We strive for a culture in which we are empowered to excel together every day.
