Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Scrum Master who can effectively drive Agile delivery for complex, high-scale engineering platforms. This role requires a strong blend of Agile leadership, technical understanding, and stakeholder management to ensure efficient execution across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
Drive sprint execution, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality increments
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to refine backlog, define priorities, and ensure clarity of requirements
Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team productivity
Enable continuous improvement through data-driven retrospectives and actionable insights
Ensure adherence to Agile best practices while tailoring processes for engineering realities
Work closely with engineering teams (backend, frontend, DevOps, AI/ML) to understand dependencies and risks
Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time, lead time)
Drive cross-team coordination in multi-squad or platform-based environments
Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, and engineering excellence
Technical Expectations
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Hands-on exposure to modern tech stacks (e.g., Node.js, Java, Python, microservices architectures)
Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, Kubernetes, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP)
Ability to understand system architecture, APIs, and integration challenges
Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, and monitoring platforms
Required Skills
5–10 years of experience in software delivery, with at least 2–3 years as a Scrum Master
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe is a plus)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Ability to manage multiple teams or complex programs
Data-driven mindset with focus on delivery predictability and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Agilist)
Technical background as a developer, QA, or DevOps engineer
Experience in high-scale distributed systems or platform engineering
Exposure to AI/ML product delivery is a plus
