Role Overview
We are seeking a technically strong Technical Project Manager (TPM) experienced in managing the development of embedded hardware and firmware-based products from samples to production. The ideal candidate will bridge engineering execution and project delivery—ensuring complete handover to manufacturing and robust production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project execution for hardware and firmware-based products, from requirement definition through design, validation, and production release.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, mechanical, test, and production) to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Drive hardware design reviews, firmware integration milestones, and validation test planning.
Establish and maintain comprehensive project schedules, risk registers, and progress status reports.
Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure manufacturability (DFM/DFT) and readiness for mass production.
Ensure product documentation, BOMs, and firmware releases are version-controlled and properly handed over to production.
Facilitate effective communication between engineering, quality, and manufacturing departments for smooth production transitions.
Support issue resolution during pilot runs and production ramp-up.
Track key project KPIs, budgets, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related discipline.
2–4 years of experience, with at least 1+ years in a technical project management or program management role.
Proven experience in embedded product development involving both hardware and firmware.
Hands-on understanding of hardware design cycles (schematics, PCB, validation) and embedded software development processes.
Demonstrated ability in product industrialization and production handover.
Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Confluence, or equivalents).
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Good-to-have Experience
Worked with automotive, EV, or industrial embedded systems (e.g., BMS, controllers, sensors).
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AIS standards.
Experience in vendor coordination and contract manufacturing.
