Drive operational excellence and best practices within the engineering organization, partner with leadership to identify and implement strategic initiatives that improve overall efficiency and productivity.
Establish and manage core operational rhythms and processes, such as resource planning and goal tracking, to ensure the Engineering organization can scale effectively and predictably.
Manage technical projects or programs. Work closely with Google engineers and technical staff to manage project schedules, identify and mitigate risks, develop and track sprints and milestones, and ensure smooth launches.
Provide clear communication across cross-functional teams to drive transparency and end-to-end coordination of plans/progress/status.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in technical program management, project management or a related role within the software development life cycle.
Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience with leading cross-functional projects with multiple engineering teams, from initial planning through production launch.
Experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple engineering teams, from initial planning through production launch.
Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.)., and best practices for release management.
