Execute established processes, drive projects with defined scope and complexity, and require minimal guidance from higher-level program managers, engineering, or product leads.
Exercise discretion and separate judgment, complete tasks outside of established processes when necessary, and demonstrate traits of a program manager, including organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Maintain basic project management skills such as project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and process documentation.
Understand technical concepts, system architectures, and engineering workflows. Engage in technical discussions with engineers and understand technical trade-offs. Identify and manage inter-team technical dependencies.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., engineering, product, UX, etc.). Maintain strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to keep teams aligned and informed on project status, risks, and decisions.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience in technical program management.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in project management, including 1 year of experience in a job specialty relevant to the technical program managers role.
Ability to be an influential member of a highly integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.
