Manage, patch, and secure Windows/Linux workstations, servers, human-machine interface machines, and embedded operational technology devices within the Google data center environment, ensuring update compatibility and policy integration with cross-functional stakeholders.
Maintain networking infrastructure below power management system/building management system switches, including firmware updates, hardware lifecycles, and the deployment of network sensing and security monitoring tools.
Install and maintain detection tooling (e.g., SEA), security software, and host monitoring systems while managing Active Directory configurations and system hardening for post-commissioning compliance.
Lead site-level industrial control system incident response and digital forensics as a point of contact, coordinating priority zero responses and ensuring disaster recovery readiness through backup enforcement and training.
Manage industrial control system infrastructure projects, automation efforts (scripting/dashboards), and policy developments to improve operational efficiency and the overall cybersecurity posture.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in system administration (Windows/Linux) and network infrastructure management (e.g., switches, firmware, and protocols).
Experience with patch management, system hardening, and security monitoring tools in an enterprise or industrial environment.
Ability to act as a working incident manager in on-call rotations, over weekends.
Preferred qualifications:
Certifications (e.g., GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional), GRID (GIAC Response and Industrial Defense), Security+, or CISSP).
Experience with detection tooling (e.g., SEA or other SIEM/IDS platforms).
Knowledge of networking protocols below the management layer.
Ability to act as a Site Point of Contact (POC) for incident response and digital forensics with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
