Meet the Team
The Cisco Wireless Feature & System Engineering team builds end-to-end wireless capabilities across access points, controllers, and cloud-managed platforms. We design features that span device software, control planes, and management systems to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performance enterprise Wi-Fi.
Your Impact
As a Technical Lead, you will drive architecture and technical direction for wireless features across AP, controller, and management systems, with full ownership of development and validation strategies.
In this role:
Define architecture for
end-to-end wireless systems and features
Lead development and
test strategy
for complex features
Drive system-level design across device, network, and management layers
Guide debugging of cross-layer issues
Establish best practices for
development, testing, and automation
Mentor engineers and influence technical direction
Drive adoption of
AI-enabled development and testing workflows
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in wireless or networking systems
Deep expertise in
802.11 and enterprise wireless architectures
Strong understanding of
development + testing + system validation
Experience with
wireless security (WPA3, 802.1X)
Strong system design and cross-team leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with:
Mesh networking and topology optimization
Spectrum analysis and RF management
Wireless scheduling and airtime fairness
Location services / analytics
Familiarity with
PQC concepts in security systems
