Role Overview
The
Technical Lead – AI, Cloud & Engineering Innovation
will play a critical role in driving next‑generation technology initiatives across Artificial Intelligence (AI), AWS Cloud platforms, application modernization, and enterprise automation. This role is a blend of
hands‑on technical execution, innovation leadership, and team guidance
, with a strong focus on building Proof of Concepts (PoCs), introducing new tools and platforms, and solving complex enterprise-scale problems.
The individual will lead technical exploration, guide development teams, collaborate with Cloud and Enterprise teams, and provide end‑to‑end technical solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability across systems.
Primary Responsibilities
1. AI & Emerging Technology Innovation
Lead the
exploration, evaluation, and implementation of AI, GenAI, and advanced analytics solutions
aligned with business and platform needs.
Design and deliver
new Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
to validate emerging technologies, tools, and architectures before enterprise adoption.
Evaluate new AI frameworks, platforms, and tools to identify opportunities for
automation, intelligence-driven workflows, and operational optimization
.
Translate complex business and technical problems into
AI‑enabled solution architectures
.
2. AWS Cloud Architecture & Technical Upgrades
Own and drive
technical upgrades, modernization, and optimization initiatives on AWS
, ensuring systems remain scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient.
Architect and implement solutions using AWS services such as compute, storage, data, integration, and serverless technologies.
Ensure AWS solutions adhere to
enterprise security standards, governance frameworks, and cloud best practices
.
Partner with Cloud teams to review architectures, address risks, and improve overall platform resiliency.
3. Automation & Process Engineering
Identify recurring operational issues and manual processes and design
automation solutions
to eliminate redundancy.
Build
end‑to‑end automated workflows and process flows
for data movement, application orchestration, monitoring, and remediation.
Promote a culture of
automation-first engineering
, reducing technical debt and operational overhead.
4. Application & Engineering Development
Design and build
modern web applications, APIs, and backend services
to support AI, data, and automation use cases.
Develop and maintain solutions using
Python
for application logic, automation, integrations, and cloud services.
Apply clean code principles, scalable architecture patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to enable efficient and reliable deployments.
5. Technical Leadership & Team Enablement
Act as the
technical go‑to person
for teams, providing guidance on design decisions, implementation approaches, and troubleshooting.
Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution walkthroughs.
Mentor and coach team members, improving overall
technical competency, solution quality, and delivery maturity
.
Review code, designs, and solutions to ensure alignment with standards and long-term maintainability.
6. Enterprise Collaboration & Support
Collaborate closely with
Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Platform teams
to align solutions with organizational objectives.
Support production and pre‑production issues by performing
root cause analysis
and defining permanent technical fixes.
Actively participate in cross‑team discussions to resolve gaps, dependencies, and architectural challenges.
Provide clear technical documentation and communication for stakeholders and leadership teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
Strong
hands‑on experience with AWS
cloud services and solution design.
Practical experience in
AI / ML / GenAI exploration and implementation
.
Advanced proficiency in
Python
for application development, automation, and data workflows.
Experience developing
web applications, REST APIs, and cloud‑native services
.
Proven expertise in
automation of process flows, incident remediation, and repetitive operational tasks
.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Demonstrated experience in
technical leadership or lead engineer roles
.
Strong problem‑solving and architectural thinking abilities.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Ability to influence technical direction without formal authority.
Preferred / Good‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with GenAI
platforms
(e.g., model orchestration, prompt engineering, LLM integration).
Familiarity with
enterprise security, governance, and compliance controls
.
Experience working in
large-scale, multi-team enterprise environments
.
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure‑as‑code frameworks.
