Role Summary: The TAM is responsible for ensuring technical excellence across all advertiser workflows, bridging the gap between client needs and engineering execution. This role ensures that platforms are integrated correctly, issues are identified quickly, data is reliable, A/B tests run cleanly, dashboards are accurate, and advertiser campaigns operate without disruption. The TAM maintains client trust by delivering consistent communication, flawless troubleshooting, and proactive technical support. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Partnership & Communication Serve as the primary technical contact for clients across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, DV360, Amazon Ads, ensuring smooth communication and timely updates Lead client calls to explain technical issues, reporting discrepancies, setup gaps, and next steps using insights from UI’s and Dashboards Provide clear, actionable explanations of issues and fixes, coordinating closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to ensure end-to-end resolution. Maintain structured communication through Slack 2. Technical Troubleshooting ● Detect and troubleshoot setup or data issues such as Spend mismatches Missing conversions Data ingestion failures API/data pipeline delays Naming/taxonomy mapping errors ● Diagnose issues in platforms like Meta, Google, Tik-Tok, DV360, The Trade Desk, and work with internal teams to validate fixes ● Own the issue lifecycle: detect → diagnose → assign → validate → close → document for the client. 3. Performance Insights & optimization Compare spend across advertiser platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, Tik-Tok Ads, DV360, Amazon Ads DSP against internal ingestion tables or dashboards Validate pacing, daily budgets, billing discrepancies, and mismatched spend using platform reporting + BI tools Work with data engineering when discrepancies originate from ingestion, API delays, or missing line items. Analyze & optimize performance metrics such as CPM, CPA / ROAS, Frequency / Reach, Viewability, Impression quality Use available tools like MOAT, IAS, Double Verify to ensure brand safety and impression quality. 4. A/B Testing, Experiments & Exclusions ● Create the setup, monitoring, and validation of A/B tests, geo-tests, and lift studies across: Meta Lift Tests Google Ads Experiments TikTok Experiments DV360 A/B experiments ● Monitor contamination reports, holdout exposure, audience splits, and ensure tests run cleanly. ● Remove all exclusions once tests conclude by validating in platform UIs (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads, TikTok Ads). 5. Onboarding New Partners & Vendor Integrations Lead onboarding for new buying platforms, measurement partners, and data sources such as TikTok API, Meta MAPI, DV360, AppsFlyer, Adjust and CRM platforms.. Validate API connections, event schemas, conversion tracking, and ingestion layers (GCP, AWS, Azure). Thoroughly QA new integrations for accuracy, missing fields, mapping consistency, and event firing. 6. Taxonomy & Mapping Governance Review and validate campaign naming structures across Google Ads, Meta Adsets/Ads, TikTok Ad Groups, and internal taxonomy tools. Fix incorrect mappings or missing channels/tactics before campaign go-live. Maintain global mapping consistency using BI tools 7. Reporting, QA & Data Alignment QA of Data in dashboards Validate alignment between BI dashboards and platform data Ensure all ingestion pipelines are syncing correctly and escalate issues when discrepancies appear. 8. Jira Ticket Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration Create, update, prioritize, and close Jira tickets for integrations, bugs, mapping issues, data discrepancies, or feature requests. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Analytics, Data Ops, BI, and vendor teams to ensure rapid resolution. Document all updates and fixes in CSM trackers.
