Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who can architect, build, and scale full-stack systems across backend, frontend, and mobile applications powering Infilect’s AI-driven retail intelligence platforms. This role requires a strong mix of: System design Engineering leadership Deep execution capability You will work closely with AI/ML teams, product, and customer success to deliver scalable, real-time, enterprise-grade SaaS solutions. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Own end-to-end architecture for high-scale SaaS platforms Drive design decisions for real-time data processing systems (image/video pipelines) Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of distributed systems Define engineering best practices, code quality, and deployment standards Backend Engineering Design and build scalable APIs and microservices Work with AI/ML pipelines (image recognition, computer vision outputs) Build systems handling high-volume image data + analytics Optimize databases, caching, and data pipelines Frontend Engineering Lead development of high-performance dashboards & analytics platforms Build intuitive UIs for retail insights, reporting, and visualization Work with modern frontend frameworks (React, etc.) Mobile App Development Oversee development of mobile apps used by field force for store audits Ensure real-time image capture → processing → insight delivery workflows Optimize for performance in low-network environments Team & Execution Mentor and lead a team of engineers (backend, frontend, mobile) Collaborate with product, AI, and CSM teams Translate business problems into scalable technical solutions Drive sprint planning, delivery timelines, and execution rigor Required Skills & Experience Must-Have: 6–10+ years in full-stack development , with 2+ years in a leadership role Strong backend expertise in Node.js / Python / Java (any) Experience in frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue) Experience building mobile apps (Android / React Native / Flutter) Strong understanding of: Distributed systems Microservices architecture API design Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) Good-to-Have (Highly Relevant for Infilect): Exposure to computer vision / ML pipelines / image processing systems Experience handling large-scale data (images, video, analytics) Knowledge of real-time processing systems Experience in SaaS product companies (B2B) What Makes This Role Unique Build systems that process millions of real-world retail images monthly Work at the intersection of AI + SaaS + Retail Analytics Direct impact on revenue outcomes for global brands Opportunity to shape core product architecture from scale-up stage Success Metrics System scalability (latency, uptime, throughput) Speed of feature delivery Code quality & engineering standards Team productivity & ownership Business impact (feature adoption, customer outcomes) Culture at Infilect High ownership, high impact Deep-tech + real-world problem solving Fast-paced startup execution Focus on AI-driven innovation in retail Ideal Candidate “Builder + Leader” mindset Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid scaling Strong product thinking (not just engineering) Bias for action and ownership
