About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to drive the
architecture, scalability, and engineering excellence behind our
next-generation NBFC platform. You will lead critical engineering initiatives
across fintech infrastructure, AI integrations, and backend systems while
mentoring engineers and influencing technical strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced
startup environments and enjoys building systems that operate at scale.
What You’ll Do
Technical Leadership

Lead the design and architecture of scalable
fintech platforms and backend systems
·
Drive engineering standards, best practices, and
technical decision-making
·
Mentor engineers and foster a culture of
ownership and innovation
Platform & Infrastructure Engineering
·
Build and optimize systems for credit workflows,
risk engines, and financial transactions
·
Design resilient distributed systems and
event-driven architectures
·
Improve infrastructure reliability,
observability, and deployment processes
AI Integration & Productivity
·
Integrate AI agents, LLMs, and automation
workflows into engineering operations
·
Identify opportunities to improve development
velocity using AI-powered tooling
Delivery & Execution
·
Lead end-to-end project execution from
architecture to deployment and monitoring
·
Collaborate with product, business, and
compliance teams to deliver scalable solutions
What We’re Looking For
Technical Expertise
·
Strong experience in backend engineering using
Golang, Python, Java, or Node.js
·
Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs,
cloud infrastructure, and databases
·
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD
pipelines, and scalable architectures
Leadership Experience
·
Experience mentoring engineers and leading
technical initiatives
·
Strong ownership mindset and decision-making
ability
·
Ability to balance speed, scalability, and
reliability
Professional Experience
·
4-6 years of software engineering experience
·
Proven track record of building production-scale
systems
·
Experience working in startup or high-growth
environments
AI & Innovation Mindset
·
Experience integrating AI tools, LLMs, or
automation frameworks into workflows
·
Passion for AI-enabled engineering practices
Nice to Have
·
Fintech, lending, NBFC, or banking domain
experience
·
Familiarity with compliance systems and
financial regulations
·
Experience with event streaming platforms such
as Kafka
Qualifications
·
B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or related
fields
·
IIT/NIT graduates preferred
