About this role

For our IT Competence Center for Research and Development we are looking for a highly dedicated Teamcenter Developer to join our strong and motivated team in Bengaluru, India.  Teamcenter is a widely used tool for product data management. It serves as the main framework within IT CC R&D for developing applications that support processes such as tire and material specification, mold specification, and digital solutions. To meet Continental’s business needs, a significant amount of customization has been implemented on top of the standard Teamcenter product. This position is essential to address the growing demand for Teamcenter customization and upgrade projects. Additionally, it ensures that the expertise gained in Teamcenter remains within the department and is effectively shared across the team. Responsibility                                                        Teamcenter Development- Implement solution for Teamcenter customization based on requirements. & Write design documents for the Teamcenter based implementation. Teamcenter upgrade\migration- Support application teams in project for Teamcenter upgrades & Support application team in migration of Teamcenter client from RAC to Active workspace. Projects- Participate as team member in IT SW projects using the Teamcenter platform & Support project team by sharing expertise on Teamcenter customization. Skills Required Technical Expertise: Teamcenter Server-Side Customization- Basic experience in Teamcenter customization (ITK, RAC, Active workspace) (C, C++, JAVA, JAVA Script, HTML etc.) BMIDE Configuration : Basic experience in configuring Teamcenter data models, business rules, and templates using BMIDE. Teamcenter Modules : Advanced knowledge of core modules including Organization, Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Query Builder, and PLMXML/TCXML. Software Engineering Fundamentals : Basic understanding of software development principles, version control, and testing methodologies. Additional Skills: Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interaction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven 2+ year of experience in Teamcenter customization and implementation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and migrations. Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Prior experience in training and knowledge transfer.
