About this role

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the reconciliation team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all reconciliation activities. Review and approve daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (e.g., bank, accounts, intercompany, and suspense accounts). Investigate and resolve discrepancies, breaks, and unmatched transactions. Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality metrics; provide regular feedback and coaching. Coordinate with internal departments (Finance, Operations, Risk, IT) to resolve issues and streamline processes. Prepare and present reconciliation reports and Dashboard to senior management. Identify process gaps and implement automation or improvement initiatives. Support audits (internal and external) by providing required documentation and explanations. Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field. 4–8 years of experience in reconciliation/accounting, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Strong understanding of reconciliation processes and financial controls. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level preferred) and accounting systems/ERP tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
