We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Team Leader to join our dynamic inside sales
team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Inside Sales Associates, focusing on lead
generation, qualifying prospects, and closing sales deals over the phone or through walk-ins.
This role will collaborate closely with the Inside Sales Head, Business Head, and City Head
to ensure sales targets are met and the team performs at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Inside Sales Associates to
achieve individual and team sales targets.
Lead Engagement: Oversee the initiation of outbound calls to potential customers from
company-generated leads.
Follow-Up: Ensure leads are nurtured through regular follow-ups and maintain
communication through various channels (phone calls, emails, etc.).
Qualification:
Guide the team in qualifying leads based on established criteria and gathering essential
information to understand customer needs and buying intent.
Closing the Deal: Facilitate the closing process, including negotiations and overcoming
objections, working closely with the Field Sales Team.
Product/Service Knowledge: Ensure the team has an in-depth knowledge of our
products/services to effectively communicate their value propositions to prospects.
Appointment Setting: Oversee the scheduling of meetings and appointments for the Field
Sales Team based on qualified leads.
CRM Management: Ensure accurate records of interactions with leads are maintained in the
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Collaboration: Coordinate with the Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment in lead
generation efforts and strategies.
Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on individual and team performance, ensuring
sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and conduct regular training sessions to
enhance the team's skills and performance.
Requirements:
Experience:
Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the Banking
Industry, BPO, or Ed-tech sector.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
Organisational Abilities: Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Results-Driven: A results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales
targets.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, monitor competitor activities, and
analyse market developments to identify opportunities and challenges.
