Team Lead - Treasury Tech
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Team Lead in Treasury Technology. The treasury function at Millennium covers several areas: Cash and collateral management, Financing, Liquidity Management, Margin, Financing Optimization and Counterparty Risk. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a global development team and supporting your stakeholders in a high-pressure environment where timeliness and quality of deliverables are of utmost importance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in architecture and design, with full-stack development experience in C#, .NET and Angular. In addition to technical prowess, the candidate will need to be able to communicate effectively with Treasury & Middle Office users and translate their requirements into appropriate solutions.
Responsibilities
* Lead a global team of developers and provide technical guidance and mentorship
* Support geographically diverse, Treasury and Middle Office team in managing and maintaining a large portfolio of Treasury systems and services
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop efficient solutions
* Design and drive scalable and performant architecture while working with other development groups up and down the stack of the Treasury services
* Drive process improvements to enhance software quality and operational efficiency
* Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Requirements
* Proven experience supporting an operations team in a high-pressure environment
* Strong technical background with deep expertise in C#, .NET, Angular and Data management
* Experience leading a team of developers
* Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence methodologies for development and full SDLC practice
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
* Effective communication and leadership abilities
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced knowledge of AI techniques and frameworks for development and data analytics
* Working knowledge of deploying and running software solutions on public cloud
* Previous experience working in Prime Brokerage, Treasury, Margin or Risk functions
* Deep and diverse understanding of financial markets and asset classes and derivatives
* Python skills would be an asset
* Angular development skills would be an asset
