SAPRO Business Model:
Our clients are the US CPA firms, who outsource their projects related to taxation, assurance to SAPRO during the peak season. By this SAPRO makes the busy season, an easy season for the Clients both with respect to the quality of work and depth of technical expertise.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Client and Account Management:
Build existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of the industry. Work collaboratively with the client to resolve tax-related issues faced by the client.
Keep up to date with relevant industry regulatory changes affecting business operations.
Act as a technical and knowledge resource to the tax practice
Assist in the management of a portfolio of clients including the allocation of projects across the tax team.
Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
Maintain internal controls ensuring the team is compliant with Client's requirements.
Technical Knowledge:
Prepare and review
US Federal and State tax returns
for
partnerships (Form 1065)
and
corporations (Form 1120)
.
Ensure tax returns are completed accurately and in compliance with US tax regulations.
Manage and review work of junior team members, providing guidance and technical support.
Identify tax issues and provide effective solutions or recommendations.
Assist in year-end tax planning and estimate calculations.
Manage client deliverables and timelines efficiently.
Stay updated with current tax developments and regulatory changes affecting US entities.
Support internal process improvement initiatives and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Coordinate with US counterparts or clients for queries and clarifications.
People Leadership:
Lead and support the set-up of Tax practices to assist with the production of tax deliverables.
Ensure effective staff development: train, coach, supervise and appraise the performance of the team.
Manage and oversee a team of seniors, reviewers, and preparers.
Acts as a role model and inspires others to embrace and live our purpose and values.
Desired Skills:
6 - 8 years of experience in US Individual Tax and Trusts is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of International Taxes (Preferred).
Must have experience in any of the taxation tools (CCH preferred)
Candidate should have exposure working with Clients directly.
Good verbal and written English communication skills.
Ability to work remotely with a home office set up and minimal distractions.
