About the Opportunity
We're scaling fast at Reelo, and we need someone who can build our A-team while supporting core HR operations.
You'll work alongside the founding team to own end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing and headhunting top talent to closing critical hires across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success. You'll also support key HR processes to ensure our team stays engaged and our culture thrives.
This is a hands-on role where you'll spend most of your time hiring the best talent while contributing to employee experience and culture-building initiatives.
Responsibilities
Own talent acquisition end-to-end:
Lead the full recruitment cycle - sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing. Build pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Proactively headhunt top talent:
Identify and engage passive candidates, especially for hard-to-fill tech roles (Engineering, Product, Data). Use creative sourcing strategies to find A-players.
Build an A-team:
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, assess candidate fit (skills + culture), and ensure we're hiring the best talent in the market.
Manage candidate experience:
Ensure every candidate has a smooth, professional, and positive experience - from first contact to offer acceptance (or rejection).
Build employer brand:
Help position Reelo as a great place to work through content, outreach, networking, and showcasing our culture to potential candidates.
Support core HR operations:
Assist with onboarding, performance cycles, employee engagement initiatives, and day-to-day HR needs as the team scales.
Shape and protect culture:
Translate Reelo's values into everyday behaviors through hiring decisions, rituals, events, and how we engage the team.
Use data to drive decisions:
Track key hiring metrics (time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, pipeline health, source effectiveness) and use them to optimize recruitment strategies.
Must-haves
2+ years of experience
in
talent acquisition / recruitment
, preferably in a startup or SaaS environment.
Proven tech hiring experience:
Strong track record of successfully hiring for Engineering, Product, or technical roles with the ability to assess technical talent.
Excellent at headhunting and sourcing:
Skilled at proactively identifying, engaging, and closing passive candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and creative outreach.
Strong
ownership and hustle:
you're comfortable taking decisions, managing multiple roles at once, and moving fast without compromising on quality.
Excellent
communication and relationship-building skills -
you can position the Reelo story to candidates and partner effectively with hiring managers.
Solid
judgment and problem-solving:
you know how to balance speed with quality of hire, and can assess both skills and culture fit.
Comfort with
recruitment tools
(ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, sourcing tools) and Google Workspace (Sheets/Docs/Slides).
Alignment with Reelo's values—especially

Prior experience as an
early recruitment hire
in a fast-growing startup.
Experience building
recruitment processes and interview frameworks
