Job Summary:
The System Design & Implementation Specialist is responsible for end‑to‑end technical design, planning, and execution support of Pushout Theft Prevention Systems. This role partners closely with Engineering, Global Operations, and Customer teams to ensure accurate site designs, smooth installations, and successful customer acceptance. The role requires strong technical aptitude, design expertise, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Essential Job Functions
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Lead the
design, integration, implementation, modification, and coordination
of system installations, including testing, operation, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
Support
installation and system upgrade execution
for Pushout Theft Systems, from initial system design through final customer acceptance.
Develop a
site‑specific application plan
for each installation or major upgrade, clearly defining:
Devices and configurations
Antenna loop placement
Door managers
Camera positioning
Review and interpret
store surveys, floor plans, and video documentation
to produce accurate and effective site designs.
Apply
best‑practice methodologies
and reference existing design libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across installations.
Interface with
Engineering teams
to resolve system issues and collaborate on detailed site‑plan development.
Create
custom layouts and technical drawings
, ensuring all specifications are met and revisions are accurately incorporated.
Utilize
AutoCAD
for detailed site planning and system layouts.
Leverage
Visio and Adobe Photoshop
to produce custom visuals and client‑ready drawings.
Design complete system solutions, including
pushout detection systems and smart wheel mounting hardware
, based on cart fleet surveys to ensure optimal on‑site performance.
Recommend, plan, and design
tailored loss‑prevention solutions
aligned with customer requirements.
Maintain a high level of
technical application expertise
through ongoing collaboration with engineering and technical stakeholders.
Attend
key engineering, training, and global technical support meetings
, actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support
global operations
by providing site designs and resolving design‑related challenges across multiple regions.
Adjust site designs and configurations based on
actual installation outcomes
and feedback from senior engineering leadership.
Qualification Requirements:

Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree (AA) in
Electronics, Computer Technology
, or related field required
