Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and execution-focused HR Manager – Talent Management who will drive core HR functions including performance management, employee engagement, HR operations, payroll coordination, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong business partnering capability along with hands-on ownership of HR governance frameworks.
The ideal candidate should be able to balance strategic HR initiatives with operational excellence, ensuring alignment with business goals while maintaining high standards of compliance and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Management & Employee Development
Partner with business leaders and managers to ensure clarity on role expectations and performance standards
Drive Career Development Planning (CDP) and succession planning initiatives
Enable capability building through structured development interventions
Support internal talent movement, promotions, and role transitions
Performance Management
Lead end-to-end performance management cycle including goal setting, reviews, feedback, and normalization
Drive a performance-driven culture with clear differentiation
Support managers in managing underperformance, including PIPs and improvement plans
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, role changes, and exits
Ensure strong process adherence and documentation across HR operations
Drive continuous improvement in HR SOPs, governance, and process efficiency
Payroll Management & Coordination
Ensure accurate and timely payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, incentives, and deductions
Coordinate with Accounts teams for payroll processing and validation
Handle employee queries related to salary, payouts, and full & final settlements
Maintain payroll data accuracy and audit readiness
Statutory Compliance & HR Governance
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.)
Maintain and audit compliance records, registers, and documentation
Support internal and external audits and ensure closure of observations
Drive adherence to company policies and employee handbook
Employee Engagement & Culture
Design and implement structured employee engagement initiatives
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievance resolution
Drive initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture
HR Business Partnering & Strategy
Collaborate with leadership to align HR initiatives with business priorities
Provide insights on team performance, productivity, attrition, and workforce trends
Support organizational structuring, cost optimization, and team effectiveness initiatives
HR Reporting & Analytics
Track and analyze key HR metrics such as attrition, performance, engagement, and productivity
Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership review
Drive data-backed decision-making and interventions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
12+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced organization
Strong exposure to Talent Management, HR Operations, Payroll, and Compliance
Good understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory requirements
Proven experience in performance management and employee relations
