The Support Executive (Electrical & AC) is responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing electrical systems and basic air-conditioning equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment.
Carry out routine inspection and maintenance of electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, control panels, motors, and distribution boards.
Perform basic maintenance of air-conditioning systems, including split ACs, window ACs, and ductable units (as applicable).
Monitor AC performance and carry out activities such as cleaning filters, checking wiring, thermostats, relays, and control panels.
Coordinate with external HVAC vendors for major AC repairs, gas charging, or overhauling work.
Identify electrical or AC-related faults and take corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure proper functioning of electrical and AC control systems.
Attend electrical and AC breakdowns and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Maintain maintenance logs, inspection records, and breakdown reports.
Follow all safety procedures, electrical standards, and company policies.
Support installation and commissioning of new electrical or AC equipment when required.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems.
Basic understanding of air-conditioning systems and controls.
Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
Hands-on troubleshooting skills.
Awareness of electrical and AC safety practices.
Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency maintenance calls.
