Electrical Site Supervisor: Job Description for PSS Project
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Electrical
Technician
who has experience in EPC work of 66 KV sub stations at our project site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring installation and commissioning of electrical assets installed in outdoor and indoor sub station viz. Isolators, Power Transformers, CB - Outdoor & Indoor - SF6 & VCB, CT-PT, C & R panels, ABT meters, RTU, SCADA etc. Follow and ensure compliance of safety during execution work.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and commission 66 KV power transformers - all electrical assets of PSS (Pooling Sub Station), 66 KV EHV lines and charging and other related electrical components.
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to EHV substation and CR electrical assets.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and project guidelines.
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to execute installations as per site requirements.
Handle tools, testing equipment, and materials safely and efficiently.
Document service reports, work progress, and any technical issues encountered.
Assist contractor manpower when required.
Qualifications and Skills:
ITI in Electrical.
5+ years of experience in solar.
Knowledge of 66 KV Substation work - erection and commissioning.
Familiarity with safety protocols and electrical codes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Physically fit and comfortable working at heights.
Willingness to travel and work in remote project locations.
