About the Role:
The Subject Matter Expert (Travel) at BookMyTourNow is a key resource for the sales team and other departments, providing in-depth knowledge and expertise on specific travel destinations, products, and services. This role requires a highly knowledgeable and experienced travel professional with excellent communication and training skills. The Subject Matter Expert will play a vital role in enhancing the team's product knowledge and improving the quality of travel advice provided to clients.
Responsibilities:
· Expert Knowledge:
Maintain expert-level knowledge of assigned travel destinations, including attractions, accommodations, transportation, local customs, visa requirements, and other relevant information. This may focus on a specific region, type of travel (e.g., adventure, luxury, family), or travel product (e.g., cruises, tours).
· Training & Support:
Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, and presentations to sales teams and other staff on assigned destinations, products, and travel-related topics. Provide ongoing support and answer questions from the team.
· Content Creation:
Create informative and engaging content for internal and external use, such as destination guides, blog posts, FAQs, and marketing materials.
· Product Development:
Collaborate with product development teams to identify new travel opportunities and enhance existing travel packages. Provide feedback on product offerings based on market trends and customer preferences.
· Sales Support:
Provide expert advice and support to the sales team in handling complex customer inquiries and creating customized travel itineraries. Assist with closing high-value sales.
· Market Research:
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on travel trends, competitor activities, and emerging destinations.
· Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with key travel suppliers, airlines, hotels, and other industry partners.
· Travel Expertise:
Share travel experiences and insights with the team, staying current on travel advisories, safety concerns, and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
