Job Summary:
The Store In charge / Executive will oversee the operations of the main materials storage facility, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient material flow, and effective coordination with cross-functional teams. This role is essential in supporting uninterrupted production while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily stock checks and prepare detailed reports on material shortages, discrepancies, and inventory status.
Issue materials against approved departmental requests while ensuring accurate and real-time updates in the ERP system.
Coordinate closely with production and purchasing teams to ensure smooth and efficient inventory movement.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials in line with FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
Oversee receipt, inspection, storage, and tracking of raw materials and finished goods.
Analyze inventory trends by identifying fast-moving and slow-moving items to support planning and optimization.
Maintain and monitor minimum and maximum inventory levels to ensure availability while minimizing excess stock and waste.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records, resolving discrepancies promptly.
Ensure strict compliance with hazardous waste management protocols and safe handling practices.
Uphold quality and safety standards in alignment with certifications such as IATF and OHSAS.
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of approximately 10 personnel, including task delegation, performance management, and training.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in warehouse or inventory management, including supervisory responsibility.
Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Tally ERP, for inventory tracking, reporting, and data accuracy.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team of around 10 members.
Sound knowledge of inventory control practices, including FIFO and stock reconciliation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Effective communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Knowledge of safety regulations and hazardous material handling standards.
