Role Summary
We are seeking a
Sterling OMS Lead
to drive
development, customization, and support
of OMS solutions across
B2C and B2B commerce flows
. This role will lead a team of developers and ensure
successful delivery, stability, and performance
of the OMS platform.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Development & Customization
Configure and customize:
Sterling OMS APIs, services, user exits (UEs)
Implement:
Order orchestration workflows
Inventory and fulfillment configurations
🔹 Team Leadership
Lead a team of developers for
delivery and support (L2/L3)
Assign tasks, review code, and ensure
best practices
Mentor junior developers
🔹 Integration & Implementation
Integrate OMS with:
eCommerce platforms
ERP, WMS, payment systems
Work on
API-based integrations and middleware layers
🔹 Production Support
Handle
incident management, RCA, and bug fixes
Ensure system stability and SLA adherence
Support releases and deployments
🔹 Collaboration
Work with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams
Translate architecture into
technical design and execution
🔹 Required Skills
✅ Core Expertise
Hands-on experience in
IBM Sterling OMS development
Strong knowledge of:
APIs, services, pipelines
Order lifecycle & fulfillment flows
✅ Technical Skills
Java, XML, XSLT
REST/SOAP integrations
SQL (Oracle/DB2)
Debugging & troubleshooting
✅ Domain Knowledge
B2C
: High-volume order flows, returns, omnichannel
B2B
: Bulk orders, approvals, scheduled fulfillment

6–10 years overall
4+ years in Sterling OMS
🔹 Nice to Have
Exposure to Kafka / event-driven systems
Cloud platforms (GCP/AWS)
CI/CD pipelines
