About the Role:
As a Staff Software Engineer at JioStar, you will play a key role in designing and developing the core backend systems that power our live streaming workflows. You’ll own projects end-to-end, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and help shape the architecture and future direction of our low-latency, distributed systems.
This role is ideal for engineers who are passionate about solving complex backend challenges, building resilient systems at scale, and mentoring others toward engineering excellence.

JioHotstar’s world-record-breaking OTT platform is available in India, the UK, Singapore, and Canada. We are home to India’s largest entertainment content catalog for the Indian diaspora in the UK. We are hiring senior engineers for our UK and international teams to develop systems that drive business growth in the country. This is a unique opportunity to work across the JioHotstar tech stack and work on the most impactful projects.
