Through our mission-based culture of inclusion and innovation, our organization brings value not just to our customers, but to the millions of patients and members they serve.</p></div><p><strong>Overview:</strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;The Staff Software Engineer L5 works with all service aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services, has the ability to design components carefully, properly handle errors, write clean and well-factored code with good tests and good maintainability.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, deploy, test, support technical solutions using full-stack development tools and technologies&nbsp;</li> <li>Design and develop user friendly, responsive web interfaces using modern web application frameworks&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Utilize programming languages like Java, SQL, Python (for the backend) and JavaScript, HTML/CSS (for the frontend)&nbsp;</li> <li>Should have expert level knowledge in RDBMS/SQL and NoSQL databases</li> <li>Deploy the micro services seamlessly using Container Orchestration services like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS managed services and tools&nbsp;</li> <li>Adept at troubleshooting complex distributed systems and performance issues&nbsp;</li> <li>Should be a team player and excel in fast-paced agile environments&nbsp;</li> <li>Expecting a fast learner by keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in backend and front-end development.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in Enterprise Java development&nbsp;</li> <li>5+ Years experience with JavaScript (with modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.js)&nbsp;</li> <li>Extensive experience in SQL and NoSQL technologies</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in Caching, queuing, scheduling, concurrent and event-driven architectures&nbsp;</li> <li>Demonstrated experience of developing applications on/for Linux platforms</li> <li>Should have proven track record of implementing&nbsp;distributed systems and microservice architectures (RESTful APIs)&nbsp;</li> <li>Involved knowledge of best practices for implementing secure web applications&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong experience with AWS (preferred), Microsoft Azure, GCP and/or other clouds&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment techniques&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Demands and Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time).</li> <li>Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force.</li> <li>Subject to inside environmental conditions.</li> <li>Travel for this position will include less than 10% locally usually for training purposes.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em><span data-contrast="auto">This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship (e.g. H-1B, TN, or E-3).
