Scope:
This role owns the end‑to‑end implementation and long‑term ownership of ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM / HAM Pro).
The engineer will lead design, build, testing, deployment, and optimization of SAM/HAM capabilities, driving license compliance, cost optimization, audit readiness, and asset lifecycle governance across the enterprise.
This is a hands‑on implementation role, not operational support only, and requires proven experience delivering full SAM and/or HAM implementations in complex enterprise environments.
What you'll do
:
Deliver full lifecycle implementations of ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM / HAM Pro
Configure:
License models, entitlements, normalization, reconciliation
Hardware lifecycle workflows (procurement → disposal)
Integrate SAM/HAM with:
CMDB
ITSM
Discovery
Procurement systems
Build dashboards and KPIs for:
License compliance
Cost savings
Audit readiness
Asset lifecycle health
Provide L3 support and continuous optimization post go‑live
Partner with system integrators during build and assume ownership after handoff
Calibration success looks like
Clean compliance positions
Trusted reconciliation data
Demonstrable cost savings
Stable post‑implementation operations
What we are looking for:
ServiceNow SAM Pro and/or HAM / HAM Pro implementation experience
Proven delivery of at least one full SAM or HAM implementation
Strong ServiceNow development:
JavaScript
Glide API
Business Rules
Script Includes
Flow Designer
Experience with:
CMDB
CSDM
Discovery
Enterprise‑scale ServiceNow environments with governance
Nice to have
:
ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, SAM, HAM
Experience supporting audits and license true‑ups
