Job Title: Sr. QA Experience: 6-9 Years Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Pune Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: Sr. QA (AI Voice Interview System) Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Sr. QA to drive the quality assurance strategy for our AI Voice Interview System. This role covers both our Candidate-facing Application and the Admin. You will be the primary owner of quality, tasked with bootstrapping processes, mentoring a mid-senior QA team, and researching automation tools specifically for non-deterministic AI behaviors. This is a high-impact role for a "builder" with a product-first mindset. You will go beyond standard functional testing to ensure our AI interacts naturally, accurately, and robustly. Key Responsibilities 1. Process Standardization & Bootstrapping Establish the Lifecycle: Define and implement the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) from scratch, moving the team from ad-hoc testing to a structured, reproducible framework. Test Artifact Management: Create and standardize repositories for test plans, test cases, and release scenarios. Release Governance: Define criteria for release sign-offs, bug severity levels, and triage processes. 3. Team Leadership & Mentorship Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of 2–3 QA Engineers (4–5 years of experience), providing technical guidance and career development. Code & Quality Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of test cases and execution logs to ensure depth and coverage. Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between Product, Engineering, and QA, ensuring quality is baked in from the design phase. 4. Product Depth & Complexity Complex Scenario Testing: Design test strategies for complex AI edge cases, such as accent recognition, background noise interference, and conversation interruptions. User Experience Focus: Evaluate the system not just for bugs, but for the "quality of conversation" and user flow. Root Cause Analysis: deeply analyze failures to distinguish between application bugs, AI model hallucinations, or infrastructure latency. Qualifications & Skills Required: Experience: 6–9 years in Quality Assurance, with at least 2-4 years in a Mentorship role. Process Expertise: Proven track record of setting up QA processes, test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.), and workflows in a startup environment. Manual Testing Mastery: Ability to design deep, complex manual test cases for scenarios where automation is initially difficult. Mentorship: Experience managing and elevating mid-level QA engineers. Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of API testing (Postman/REST Assured) and Web/Mobile testing fundamentals. Preferred (The "Plus"): AI/ML Domain: Experience testing Chatbots, Voice Assistants, LLMs, or other AI-based systems. Voice Technology: Familiarity with WebRTC, audio stream testing, or Speech-to-Text (STT) technologies. Coding Skills: Experience writing automation scripts (Python/Java).
