Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright)
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipeline test automation for faster, reliable releases.
• Perform security testing including vulnerability assessment, penetration testing (basic), and reporting of security gaps in applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality deliverables.
• Identify, log, and track defects to closure using tools like Jira, TestRail
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans, test strategies, and RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix).
• Stay updated with emerging testing tools, techniques, and security best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in software testing, covering manual, automation, and security testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright)
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python
• Experience in API testing with tools like Postman
• Knowledge of security testing tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
