ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to own the technical layer between our platform and our clients. This is a hybrid role sitting at the intersection of software engineering, API development, and client-facing delivery — you will be the bridge between product capabilities and real-world implementation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
API & Integration Development
Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and SOAP-based integrations to connect client systems with our platform
Develop custom integration solutions tailored to client onboarding workflows and data requirements
Write clean, testable, and well-documented code for API endpoints and data transformation layers
Client & Implementation Coordination
Partner with implementation teams and client stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specs
Lead technical scoping calls and provide integration guidance to clients during onboarding
Serve as a technical point of contact for client integration queries and escalations
Documentation & Quality
Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI and Postman
Establish and enforce API versioning, deprecation policies, and lifecycle management practices
Conduct code reviews and contribute to integration best practices across the team
Support & Troubleshooting
Debug and resolve integration failures, data mapping issues, and authentication errors
Monitor API performance, error rates, and SLA compliance post-launch
Perform root cause analysis on production incidents and drive preventive improvements
WHAT YOU BRING
Technical Skills
4–5 years of hands-on experience in backend development and API / systems integration
Proficiency in one or more of: Node.js, Python, Java, or C# for API development
Deep expertise in RESTful API design principles, GraphQL, and SOAP
Strong command of authentication and security protocols — OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys, and HMAC
Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB)
Delivery & Collaboration
Ability to work directly with clients, understand their technical environments, and manage expectations
Experience translating business requirements into integration architectures and technical specs
Comfortable working across engineering, product, and client success teams
Strong written communication — you write documentation others actually want to read
NICE TO HAVE
Exposure to enterprise integration platforms (iPaaS) such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Workato
Experience in a SaaS or B2B product company serving enterprise clients
Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or webhooks
Knowledge of FHIR, EDI, or other industry-specific data standards
Background in client-facing pre-sales or solutions engineering is a plus
