Key Responsibilities
User workspace design for Defence systems/equipment & Industrial System.
Design for human factors (ergonomics)
User experience design (user interface design)
Packaging and layout of complex engineering systems
Design for assembly, manufacturing and maintenance
Development of soft model and mock-ups for concept evaluation and refinement
Coordination with Analysis and Engineering teams for optimization and detailing
Collaborate with software teams for implementation of the User Interface
Technical support to execution teams for manufacturing, integration and testing
Technical support for field trials
Recording of feedback from manufacturing, integration and testing phases for design improvement
Prior Experience required
Design and development experience of a technology focused product
Key Skills:
Problem solving and conceptualization
Good sketching and product visualization skills
Proficient in 3D modelling and realistic rendering software tools
Proficiency in image editing and graphic design software
Sound knowledge of engineering basics such strength of materials, fluid dynamics etc is a plus
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
