Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Commissioning:
Construction & execution of 66 kV lines, PSS, GSS and other renewable energy related project electrical works.
Coordinate with contractors and ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and project timelines.
Oversee the testing and commissioning of installed systems to verify proper operation and compliance with standard electrical specifications.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including drawings, installation records, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
Assist in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
Co-ordination and Communication:
Work closely with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and external/internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Participate in project meetings, provide technical input, and address any electrical engineering-related issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Minimum of [5-7] years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with 66 kV transmission lines or similar high-voltage systems.
Experience with 66 KV EHV - PSS - GSS projects and knowledge of outdoor-indoor switchgear, Power transformer commissioning is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of electrical drawing and tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention on day-to-day planning.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
