Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development & Systems Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and systems engineering, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain our IT infrastructure while ensuring optimal performance and security.
Responsibilities:
Design and Development
: Architect, design, and develop scalable, high-quality software solutions in line with business requirements.
Code Review and Optimization
: Conduct thorough code reviews and optimize existing code for performance and scalability.
Collaboration
: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Innovation
: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices in development to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
Infrastructure Management
: Design, deploy, and maintain robust IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and storage systems.
System Integration
: Integrate various systems and ensure seamless interoperability between different software and hardware components.
Performance Monitoring
: Implement monitoring tools and techniques to ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and security of IT systems.
Troubleshooting
: Diagnose and resolve complex system issues and provide technical support to the development team as needed.
Security Implementation
: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the company’s data and IT assets.
Compliance
: Ensure all systems and software adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in software development and systems engineering.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar.
Strong knowledge of system administration and network protocols.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
Knowledge of database management systems (SQL, NoSQL).
