ABOUT THE ROLE

be responsible for
architecting, designing, and
implementation
of
SAP S/4HANA
Oder
to Cash solutions
(Order
management,
Billing
,
Invoice
management,
distribution
and
logistics
)
across all the Amgen
clinical
manufacturing and distribution sites.
This role focuses on
leveraging
SAP technologies to streamline and enhance
clinical
OTC
processes,
ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.
As an SAP
Clinical
Solution architect, you
will work closely with
operations
IT a
nd
business stakeholders to gather requirements,
design,
and configure
solutions, and provide post-implementation support.
This position requires deep
expertise
in SAP
S/4 HANA
Sales and Distribution
with
a
good
understanding of
SD integration with
WM/EWM,
TM
and Shipping functionalities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
D
esign, configuration, and
implementation
of
SAP S/4 HANA
Clinical
OTC processes
(Order
management,
billing, invoic
e management,
distribution
and
logistics
)
Ensure seamless integration between SAP
S/4 modules
MM, FI, PP, TM,
ATTP,
GTS, E
AS
,
Ariba,
and EWM)
as well as
non-SAP systems for planning,
quality
and manufacturing (Example - MES, IRT, IVRS and Anaplan)
Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to
identify
potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
C
reation and maintenance
of
critical
documentation such as
technical
assessments, configuration specs,
functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with
pharmaceutical
industry standards and regulations.
Participate in ERP
implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to deliver and sustain Amgen's S/4HANA ecosystem
utilizing
the Scaled Agile Framework (
SAFe
)
Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading
practices
Basic Qualifications and Experience
:
Doctorate degree OR
Master’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and

to
3
years of SAP
implementation
experience in SAP S/4
SD
OR
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or STEM majors and
3
to
5
years of SAP
implementation experience in SAP S/4
SD
OR
Diploma in computer science or STEM majors and
7
to
9
years of IT or
years of SAP
implementation experience in SAP S/4
SD
Functional Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
Strong hands-on
experience configuring and customizing
sales, delivery & billing document types and Item categories, contracts and pricing, ATP, export controls, output determination, credit Management, EDI/IDOC
integration with 3PL’s
, Inter
and Intra company STO’s
. Experience with S/4HANA Advance intercompany
STO and Sales process
Good understanding of SAP Fiori,
ABAP
and BTP tech
nologies
Ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements
, including
debugging and root cause analysis
.
Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications,
test cases, and compliance reports
.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Knowledge of
SAP S/4 Inbound
logistics
and warehouse management process, Transportation management.
Experience with
integrating SAP
with Ariba supplier collaboration, IBP or Kinaxis supply and demand planning system.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.
Professional Certifications
:
SAP Certified Application Associate
in
SAP
S/4 Hana Sales and Distribution
Agile Certified Practitioner (
preferred
)
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Shift Information:
This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening shift, as required based on business requirements.
